           Koshikawa Botanical Garden        

@

          

Koshikawa Botanical Garden was a herbal garden during the Edo era. Two areas, the Koishikawa Recuperation House, a healthcare facility and the Koishikawa Goyakuen, a pharmacy where open to the general public.

           During the Meiji Era the garden became a part of Tokyo University. A western style building was constructed as a science museum.

          The garden now is spacious, has several greenhouses, and is home to 3.000 species of indigenous and foreign plants. The original garden is still partially maintained as an experimental herb garden of Tokyo University.

Adults: Yen 330, Children: Yen 110

(Tickets have to be bought across the street in the shop of Yamazaki Pan)

Openings Time:

From 09:00 to 16:30 (No entrance after 16:00)

The greenhouses are open from 10:00 to 15:00

Closed on Mondays and the days following a National Holiday
